The New Bronx Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our continuing partnership with the Peterson Foundation and NYEDC for the NYC Small Business Resource Network program in the Bronx. This program funds a city-wide team of Small Business COVID-19 Recovery Specialists to serve as “Special Forces” in borough Chambers of Commerce. These Specialists are here to offer assistance to Bronx small businesses as they tackle the challenges of recovering from COVID-19 related shutdowns and restrictions, and adapting to a new way of doing businesses, by connecting owners with available legal, financial, marketing, and other resources.

Our Specialists:
- Assess problems facing each small business and determine specific needs
- Identify available services to address these needs (including but not limited to: technology vendors, legal and financial advisors, marketing resources, etc.)
- Connect the small business to the specific resource(s) through a comprehensive Small Business Resource Network, run by the New York Economic Development Corporation and the Partnership for New York City, and make referrals within the Chamber's own member network and/or other partner networks when necessary.
This partnership has and will continue to benefit eligible Bronx businesses both within and outside the Chamber network, with an emphasis on minority-owned businesses in distressed communities who have an urgent need for hands-on support. Throughout the past year the Chamber has reached over 3,400 businesses and connected nearly 1,000 to services, including loans, grants, and many other services.
