Following the tragic fire that took place January 9th at the Twin Parks North West apartment building on 181st Street, the Bronx Chamber of Commerce and BxCC Foundation are coordinating our fundraising and outreach efforts with those of our members, community partners and extended network, in order to provide direct services to those affected. The Foundation is working with community members impacted by the fire to fulfill specific needs, focusing on culturally appropriate items from local businesses, school supplies & other educational needs, and post-relocation services.

BxCCF will support Bronx business growth by: facilitating success of Minority and Women-Owned Businesses (MWBE); coordinating business-related internships and other career development activities; serving as a hub of connection to facilitate institutional partnerships and other public-private collaborations; and promoting the Bronx as a place to do business.

  • Assist individuals who are interested in starting up a new business, advise and train them in the necessary basic steps such as creating a business plan, financial lending, obtaining licenses and permits, and insurance.
  • Work with businesses to focus on internal and external communications skills, procedures and tools to grow and prosper.
  • Small Business Disaster Recovery Planning.
