Apply for a 2026 Lifting up The Bronx, NY Small Business Grant
Optimum Business and the Bronx Chamber of Commerce are proud to bring $145,000 in grants to support small businesses in the Bronx through the Lifting Up Small Businesses in The Bronx
program. The program awards 25 eligible local businesses with a $5,000 grant and one $20,000 grand prize grant to support local businesses in their growth and long-term success.
To apply for a Lifting up the Bronx Small Business Grant you must:
+ Have a brick-and-mortar business location in a community served by Optimum
+ Maintain a team of 10 or fewer employees
+ Be open for a minimum of 1 year
+ Participate in promotional materials for the grant program
Your application must also explain how the grant will help you grow your company and have a positive impact on the community you serve.
This grant is made possible by Optimum Business and the Bronx Chamber of Commerce, who support the continued growth of the Bronx, NY small business community.
DEADLINE TO APPLY: SEPTEMBER 1, 2026
25 small businesses in the Bronx, NY located in an Optimum serviceable area will be selected to receive a $5,000 grant with one $20,000 grand prize winner. All applications must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on September 1, 2026. The Administrator may choose to change or extend the deadline in its sole discretion. Applicants who are selected to receive a Lifting Up Small Business Grant will be subject to a background check prior to receiving the grant funds and will be asked to consent to same and submit all required information at an appropriate time.
