FAQ's

I represent an organization that is not a current Chamber Member. Can I still use the Internship Connector platform?

  • At this time, use of the IC platform is for Chamber Members only. Membership has many benefits in addition to this, so please click here to join.

How will Internship postings reach students?

  • We will send Internship listings directly to the appropriate representatives at Chamber Member schools/orgs. to share with their students.

How are interns compensated?

  • Each school/intern program criteria varies somewhat; interns may work for college credit, for an hourly rate or stipend provided by the hiring business, or another stipend source if available.

  • Eligible businesses seeking interns will need to coordinate directly with representatives from the school(s)/org. they wish to hire from, to register as approved employer partners. Once onboarded, the intern will be told the date they may begin to work. The internship supervisor at the hiring business/org. will be responsible for reviewing and approving time sheets in order for the student to get course credit, as well as other potential paperwork.
